Natural Baltic
Best Places to Visit in Europe?

I'm going to be flying into London, but besides that, my trip is very open ended. I was thinking I should head on up to Scandinavia which I heard is very beautiful, but I'm not really sure.

To tell a little about myself, I love cities, but at the same time, I'd love to see the natural wonders of Europe, rather it be the swiss alps or the Baltic Sea, I'm really not sure.

I've never been to Europe, so maybe there are some underrated cities that you all could tell me about.

Thanks in advance.
ALSO:

Cn anyone tell me about Germany? I'd love to visit Frankfurt, as it Seems like one of the most modern cities in the world, but id it a great city for a tourist?

Also, what about Hamburg? I heard it a has a very nice Waterfront.
And I plan o spending 8-10 days in Europe if that helps, maybe someone could help by planning some sort of itinerary?

Thanks!

Hi! With 8-10 days pick one region or you'll spend all your time on the train. All the cities I've been to in Europe are amazing. Whenever I go I stick to one region and explore the big city and another one another nearby, and visit the small towns and scenic areas nearby. Try not to travel more than 4 hours in any direction-your time is best spent on the ground. Lonely Planet has great guides for trip planning so pick up the one for Europe, read it, figure out your big city, and plan around that place.
England is a great place to start. You can spend 4 days exploring London and take daytrips to the many, many places nearby that are cool and interesting. I've been visiting for the last 20 years and still find new things to see less than 4 hours from London. Have fun!
