8 month old Teething like no other HELP!?
So most of my friends have said that their kids were not that bad during teething and can give me no help. I already took him to the ER just incause it was an ear infectino or something but nope its just teething. He's hardly sleeping, hardly eating, He'll nurse and nurse forever if he could, punches him gums vigerously. He is crying constantly and I have tried everything!! I have tried the following, Highland Teething tablets, Baby Tylenol, Baby Motrin, Teething rings, Cold washcloth, my Fingers, and a few other things as well. Nothing seems to calm him. I was suggested to try an amber teething necklace. Any advice. I am slipping to the end of my rope and just want my poor little man to feel some relief.
I feel your pain, it's the same with my 8 month old. I bought some bottles at Babies R Us the other day that have little bumps at the base of the bottle for teething chewing. My son seems to like this, he eats a little then chews and chews. My grandmother swears by the liquor remedy, rubbing a bit of brandy on their gums...its very old fashioned and I haven't tried it, but she did have 6 kids so I may resort to it. If that doesn't work, I think I'lljust drink the brandy in frustration 
). Oh, try freezing a banana, the taste kind of keeps 'em motivated to keep chewing. Good luck!
