if you've used baltic amber, has it worked for you?
I have been doing a lot of reading on Baltic amber and its benefits, being that I admire natural remedies I was looking into getting some necklaces or bracelets for my family. I also hear it helps with teething in small children. So I guess my question is have you tried it before and had any success?
What did you use it for? Did did you notice the effects pretty quick?
It's the same as any self-fulfilling prophecy. If you want to believe in it you'll seek out things that confirm your belief and ignore facts that don't support it.
Some years ago wearing copper bracelets supposedly "cured" the same things amber is claimed to do. The same claims were also made of the various 'magnetic" bracelets that are sold.
Yes if you believe you'll feel better. However, you'll not find any research (double blind studies published in peer reviewed articles) just claims made by people that also are willing to sell you amber.
