How much is this amber worth?
So my grandparents gave me this amber stone as a gift years ago, and they said they bought it for $140.
I want to see how much it's really worth. My grandparents would never lie, but still...
It's 2'' long and 1'' wide and ''.2 thick. Something like that... like a flat oval shape. It also has an impression of a dinosaur carved into it.
There's also bits of leaves and foliage in it, one is very big. It's an orange color. How much do you think it's worth and where can I sell it?
all you can do is have it appraised
mom warns that an appraisal can cost nearly 100 dollars
so if you even remotely know that the piece isn't worth that or is around the value of that then don't do it
the gemologist may wish to purchase it or not
