How do you Make a Rosary?

I'm wanting to make a string of prayer beads... How do you do this?

It's for a catholic friend, I would like to make one, I saw a very beautiful set of rosary things out at wal-mart craft aisle... though the crucifix looked wholly depressing :(
I'm going to take my green and brown scapulars to the church and want to drop it off with them.

Well you need 53 Hail Mary beads, and 6 Our Father beads, either a Crucifix or a Cross, and if possible a rosary center, but if you don't have one, don't worry about it, you can use an unusual bead for the center if necessary. Thing is, you never said if you are making a wire rosary, or a crocheted rosary or a macrame rosary, or if you are going to simply string the beads on a cord.... Here I'll give you some urls on how to make the above mentioned rosaries.......

For a crocheted rosary, you simply need to know the chain stitch....
