I had a Necklace brought back from Australia for me. It has bright orange clear stones, what are they?
I got told their nickname is "Aussie Amber". They're not like normal amber as they are very clear-like an orange boiled sweet!?
Could be citrine or whiskey topaz. Some varieties of garnet are also orange (usually called mandarin). Australia produces a lot of opals, including firey orange ones.... but opals are never clear.
