Can someone help identify this gemstone?
I bought an item called 'Tree of Life' Interchangeable Pendant Necklace from jc pennys and i can't figure out what the blue gem is. can anyone help?

clck other views to see the stone in question. it has some tiny flecks in it which you can't really see in the pic. they are kind of a copper, metallic orange color. the stone is a dark, navy kind of blue. thanks so much for your help.

I think Joshua is correct. It does look like it is Lapis Lazuli.
Your stating that it has tiny, metallic flakes in it makes me even more convinced. However, because of the flakes, it is of low quality. High quality Lapis stone contains no flakes.
